Me and my husband are going to Nice for three nights in September .We have been told that the Vieux Nice is a good area to stay .I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for mid price range good hotels in the area.Thanks

Close to Vieux Nice is La pérouse, across the street from the Promenade des Anglais and on the seashore (should be around 140-160 euro a night for a double room). The Mercure Marché aux Fleurs is close to the Old Town and I think it may be cheaper than La Pérouse. The Suisse is also a very nice spot. For cheaper prices you have also the Kyriad Vieux Port (Old Port), a few minutes walk from the Old Nice.
