Can anyone recommend self catering accomm. in Calvi please?

We are about to book a holiday to Calvi and would like to be as central as possible (we have 2 x 3yr olds) and preferably not hire a car. Can anyone recommend good self catering apartments/villas etc in Calvi please? We have been looking at Apartment Reginella in the Corsican Places brochure - has anyone been there? Your responses would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I can%26#39;t offer advice on specific apartments in Calvi I%26#39;m afraid - only general advice. Corsican Places is a perfectly reputable operator; if you are unsure of the place you are considering, however, why not take a look at the Simply Corsica and Corsican Affair brochures as well? And Thomson is having a big push on Corsica this year - you might find something to your taste with them.

Thanks to the little Balagne beach train, you will be able to have a great holiday in Calvi without a car, especially if you want a toddler/beach-centred holiday. However, if you want to see a bit more of the mountains, the inland villages, the vineyards and the other parts of the Balagne region, consider hiring a car for a few days at least. You%26#39;ll have a wonderful holiday!

We stayed on the %26#39;Le Home%26#39; apartments in Calvi last year and thought that they were very good value for money. The apartments are only small but were fine for two adults and our 12 year old son. The day bed which our son slept on would easily sleep two smaller children (end to end). 2 minutes to the beach and shops - the apartments also have a lovely pool and beautiful, well kept gardens. I would fully recommend this self catering option.

I found Le Home good value for money too. We arestaying at some brand new apts next them this year called A Merula. They are also reasonably priced.
