Desperate for ideas!!

Hi France Forum Members,

I really need your assistance in planning my world trip with family.two adults/two teenagers.(18 %26amp; 21).

We are stopping of at Rome for three days and then planning to drive via coast to Barcelonia. We have thirteen days to do this.I am getting confused which direction I should take.

1)stay rome three days drive through portofino/Nice/cannes/monte carlo/etc stopping along way.

2)Stay rome three days drive to Amalfi Coast stay and explore area then drive to say Nice and make this my base.

3)can we take a ferry from say Nice/Cannes to Barcelona?

4)any special places we should see from Monte Carlo to Barcelona

Any suggestions what be so welcoming, any special places to see or visit along way.Or should I just base ourselves in one spot..being Aussies we are used to long haul driving.

Last year we drove Paris to Valance to Nice and the previous year we drove Milan to Portofino to Montsilvino to Rome.We loved France and Italy and want to show children these sights again but planning has been a headache....for July 06.

So any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited.

Thanks a million !

Yes..not so secret but its a wholesale area in Saint Denis.Just hop on Metro and take train to either Saint Denis or Bonnie Nouvelle Station and walk down to Rue d%26#39;Aboukir there are heaps of shops selling accessories..belts/bags/jewellery and clothes.Buying the clothes can be difficult as you have to be an importer and buy a certain amount ie $1000.00, the area is filled with prositutes working the rag trade..so dont be shocked to see..they are harmless and just doing their so called job.

This is a full day shopping spree..as it seems to go on forever.

Happy Shopping!
