There are a choice of bus services from the airport to the centre of Nice. The cheapest is the local bus that serves all stops between the airport and the gare routier. There is a direct service with limited stops to the train station which is a little more expensive but still good value.

Bus 98 drives downtown for 4 euro and you keep your ticket as it is good for the rest of that day.
Bus 99 drives straight to the train station.
