Does anyone have any tips for visiting Disneyparis with a toddler aged 2 years 8 months? Are there any rides that we could all go on (other child aged 9)? Are there any attractions specially geared to the 2-3 year old age group? Thanks for any info.

There are several attractions that you can do as a family.
I believe that the Haunted House, Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Carribean are for everyone. There are others, too, but your best bet is to go to the Disney sight for your info.

Jungle Cruise in not present in Paris. All of Fantasyland is suitable for all ages, I%26#39;m sure your toddler will love the %26quot;Peter Pan%26quot; ride. Phantom Manor is a favourite, though possibly a little too scary for a 2 year old. Pirates of the Carribean is an excellent ride, suitable for everyone. Also be sure to catch the parades as they are aimed at the very young.

Just got back from Europe that ended with a two-day trip to Disneyland. It was lots of fun, especially with out 2 year 8-month old! What a small world (no Disney pun intended!). She was born in Jan..what about yours?
I would warn you to stay away from Phantom Manor...the French version is way scarier than the ones here so our daughter was terrified. Pirates is great unless your toddler doesn%26#39;t like drops, there are two, but not too bad. Most things in Fantasyland are ok..Peter Pan and teacups were both great and our older daughters loved them too (they are 10, 13 and 15). There are some roller coaster-type rides that your little one will not be tall enough to ride but they do have something called a baby-switch. You take your child to the entry of a ride and they allow one parent to ride (with any children that want to). They give you a paper that allows the other parent to go through the Fast-Pass line so they can ride without having to wait in the line after the first parent is done. They do this for most of the faster rides.
Also, they only things for younger children to do in the Disney Studio park is the Alladin Magic Carpet ride ( sort of like Dumbo) and a show called Animagique which is a great show for all age kids, but more for younger ones with a lot of Disney Characters on stage.
Right now they have a Pumpkin Men/Pink Witch thing going on all through the park. There are decorations everywhere and people dressed up like these characters for Halloween...our daughter was a little put off by it, and she has been going to Disney since she was a couple of months old! Maybe it was the men with big Jack-o-Lanterns on their heads!
Let me know if you need any more specific information. I would be happy to help!

Hi debsunberg,
since your reply to my previous Disneyland Paris question (which was a while ago) was very helpful l wonder if you can help me again.
We (family of 4, children aged 9 %26amp; 2) are going to Dinsey Paris in March this year. did you go to see the LEGEND OF THE LION KING SHOW when you were there (if it was on then) would you say it is ok for a 2 year old?
Also did you have any favourite eating places?
Thanks for any help.

HELLO%26gt; I think some of you are forgetting that their are HEIGHT requirements for some of the rides . A 2 1/2 yr old is most likely fairly short, so check to see which rides have height requirements.
Its a Small World doesn%26#39;t , and most very young kids like it. I do not suggest the Haunted House as it is dark inside.

I returned to Disney Paris a few monthes ago, i wouldn%26#39;t take a small child to Phantom Manor, it was scary even for three of four years old children i would say. One parent took his baby there and we heard the baby cry, and it was just the first room. Also in the Pirates of the Carribean it may be alright but there was at least one squeleton and a few pirates. Fantasyland is fine, Peter pan is great for small children and It%26#39;s a small World as well.

Is the LEGEND OF THE LION KING SHOW ok for a 2 (nearly 3) year old? How long does the show last?
