Hi, Does anyone know of any nice hotels very close to either Gare SNCF Riquier or Ville. We are visiting Monte Carlo and need a hotel very close to the station as we will be coming back late at night. Thanks.

There is the Hotel Ibis just next to the Gare Nice Centre Ville.

Use main train station on Avenue de Thiers, not the Nice Riquier one.
Ibis is part of a chain of 2 stars hotel, clean and cheap but part of of a chain, so a bit cold.

Les Hotels de la Mediterranee
These are part of a chain also but 3 star. Very comfortable rooms and good size rooms. I stayed at one in 2001 in Nice which was quite close to the train station. We were very comfortable in this hote.There are several hotels in Nice of this chain.

The price was quite reasonable less than $100 however that was when the USD was much stronger and a cheaper rate thru. a travel club.

Hotel Malmaison that%26#39;s the one. I just checked out the site and they have since renovated and changed owners. Nice hotel.
