Standard double or Superior double rooms

When picking a room type, what is the main difference between a standard and a superior double room, other than price?

There is NO standard for %26#39;..superior..%26#39; rooms. Most usually, it will mean slightly nicer decor and/or furnishings; perhaps a slightly larger room, a better view, etc....but there%26#39;s no single way that you can tell from hotel to hotel.

Usually a superior double will be larger than a standard double room as well as probably a superior double room will have better decor as mentioned. At the Verneuil I reserved on different occasions one standard and one superior double. I hated the standard double room as it was just large enough for the bed.

You will need to address the specific hotel in order to find out what their differences are. Sending them an email usually the easiest way.

I would check out the hotel%26#39;s website, or email them, to see if they actually have %26quot;standard%26quot; and %26quot;superior%26quot; rooms in their establishment, because some don%26#39;t. Despite the fact that some travel websites state that they do. Approach with caution.
