Paris in February

Hello:

I%26#39;m planning a trip as a surprise for my wife%26#39;s 30th birthday for Feb 17-21. Any comments on Hotel Abbatial Saint Germain during the winter months? There seems to be multiple hotels that are close to monuments, museums, etc. But, what I%26#39;m looking for is a a hotel that is located on a street with small mom pop stores, bakeries, coffee shops, etc and is also not to noisy and loud at night. Would hotels in the 6th be too noisy and rowdy in winter?

Any other comments about Paris in the winter time?

Paris in general is relatively calm in the winter. I am not sure this area is known for its mom and pop ambience, but I may have over looked that aspect of the %26#39;hood and it is near the Ile St Louis which is very nice for the Mom and Pop scene. Keep in mind that the hotel is right on the boul St Germain which is a pretty busy street.
