We are visiting Paris at the end of February and will be staying at the Splendid Etoile 8e.We chose this hotel after reading very positive reviews on Trip Advisor as we are celebrating our silver anniversary and I wanted everything to be perfect !!!! However from all the research I have done it seems to be a pretty touristy area with expensive bistros and cafes. Can anyone please recommend some reasonable eating places in the area?(We have booked at the Jules Verne for our actual anniversary day and as a result will probably not have too many euros left for the rest of the days!!!) Thanks for the help.

Don%26#39;t limit yourself to eating in the same arrondissement you are staying. Go to the other neighborhoods where there are hundreds of affordable choices.
For the 8th, a nice place is %26quot;A l%26#39;angle du faubourg%26quot;...related to but nowhere near as expensive as Taillevent. www.taillevent.com
