1st time to Paris!

Wondering is it worthwhile trying to fit in the Moulin Rouge on a 2 night stay? Can we get cut-price tickets anywhere? Cheapest to buy attraction tickets at the individual attractions or best to get them from i.e. tourist office? Ta!

The Moulin Rouge is not worth cramming into a short visit...unless maybe stopping out front to snap a picture. The food is dull and tickets too pricey for a feathery can-can show.

I have been here for over two years and have never felt the desire to go in. Worth a look after you have visited the Sacre Coeur and Montmartre area.Plenty of other things to do on a 2 day trip. Enjoy your trip!

The tickets for just the show can be well over 100 euros, and dinner is even more expensive. Just look from the outside. You could see a better shows in Las Vegas.

Walked down from Monmartre past

Moulin Rouge and had no desire

to buy tickets.

There are many things to do

in the evening that you

might enjoy.

Seine boat ride

Opera

Ballet

A late dinner

Agree with my friends above...

So much to do, see and feel even in such a short trip! Much worthy climbing up to the Notre Dame towers (a classic -still beautiful-), visiting St Eustache Church on very early Saturday morning (no tourists and no-nothing makes this visit wonderful if you like churches) and then wlaking around the Les Halles area/Marais streets is delightful. Montmartre deserves a visit, specially the little streets that surround Sacre Coeur and L%26#39;apin Agile and the Montmartre vineyard (wich dates from centuries ago). Sena river walksides and bridges, St Germain, Canal St Martin... thousands of things over the Moulin Rouge...

Neilie, I have seen the show. It was my first trip to Paris. I am only glad I went just to confirm what everyone else has told you. You would be better to spend your precious time and money elsewhere. It is not a bad show nor bad food. The show is similar to a Las Vegas review. But is this how you want to spend your valueable time? I suggest going to a Jazz cellar such as La Caveau de la Huchette in the Latin Quarter where you can mingle and dance with locals or if you really want to do the tourist thing, a Seine cruise and even Seine dinner cruise would be more worth it!

Agree with all the above and would add Church concerts particularly St. Chapelle.
