I think my husband really has his heart set on a night in Beune, Burgundy or somewhere quaint for exploring for the night/day. I know there is plenty to do in Paris but he would like to get a taste of the country as well. Any suggestions for a day/night trip?

Discover France, advertising is forbidden, and 1005 euros is a lot to spend...and also the Mont St Michel is a long way for a day and a night tour from Paris. Burgundy is quaint and Beaune is very nice. Also Rouen, closer to Paris

Also DicoverFrance doesn%26#39;t seem to know the Mont St Michel, it is not a castle but an abbey!!And to say it is undiscovered? So many tourists there!!

A few suggestions: Honfleur is a lovely area not far from Giverny; St-Malo%26#39;s walled city is a treat; Dinard is a pretty area; and any of the chateaux %26quot;towns%26quot; offer beautiful views

How about the Champagne region? You could do a tasting and tour at one of the larger maisons de champagne in Épernay or Reims and then visit the quaint villages on the Route du Champagne. It%26#39;s perfect for the last day of the trip, as it%26#39;s pretty easy to get to the airport from there.
