I read in Frommers that the Chateau d%26#39;Azay-le-Rideau, the Chateaude Chambord, and the Chateau do Chenoncean are castles to see. Can these be seen on a one day tour. We had planned one day, but prehaps would be best to make it two days. Thank you.

As a general rule, one day makes a hasty visit to any location but one may see Chambord, Chenonceau, and perhaps Blois or Amboise in one day if he gets an early start and is sufficiently organized, realizing that most locations close between 4 and 5 p.m. Azay-le-Rideau is too far in the opposite direction to squeeze into a one day visit.
