Family travelling

Hello all,

My wife and I are thinking of travelling to Paris and want to bring our children (2 and 16). Any general recommendations from anyone? Hotels, sights, time of year, etc. We are thinking, maybe a week there. Any responses will be appreciated. Thank you

I have a good family friend that took his wife and three children (2,10 and 13). They had a great time, and were able to go to all the sites they had planned. They just planned not to be in museums too long b/c of having a 2 year-old. I would suggest spring, summer, or early fall. Paris is beautiful all year round, but things will be easier if you don%26#39;t have to deal with taking coats on and off.

There are also great parks for kids to run around and play in (park Monceau)as well as many carousels around paris. There is something for everyone!

I recommend Spring season...Summer is too busy with lots of line ups for tourist attractions. Airfare and hotel costs are cheaper too. I recommend Hotel Des Batignolles for a budget friendly and safe area. See frommers.com on attractions in Paris.

At least a week is good.

Hope this helps.
