Hello, we will be in France briefly [on way elsewhere] in September 2007 when the Rugby World Cup is on. Intend to base ourselves in one centre and catch the matches and life there. Which region, of the following. would be the most ecconomical to stay in i.e. cost of accomodation; Bordeaux, Nantes, St Ettiene or Montpellier? Montpellier being in Provence might be too expensive in September and during World Cup??? Any opinion greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I would say St Etienne because it is a less touristic area. Bordeaux and Montpellier would be the most expensive.
