We hear that there is a boating lake in the Bois de Bologne. Is it possible to rent boats there? Are there any boats to rent in early March, being that it%26#39;s not high tourist season and it%26#39;s rather cold?

Yes there is some boats on the Lac du bois de Boulogne, but they%26#39;re usually open in spring (mid april or so) when the weather is warmer.

I agree with Denys about the boats not being available till mid April or so. I was there last year in March, and the boats were all up on the docks, upside down, and the little cabin was closed. Sorry! Still, the lake is beautiful to look at and walk the perimeter.

I agree with the 2 previous poster...you must wait until mid-April for a boat ride, but the Lac du bois de Boulogne is a beautiful place to vist and the perimeter walk is spectacular. One would think you are many miles away from the center of a major metropolis...Don%26#39;t miss it!!
