Fat Tire Bike Tour Alternatives?

My husband and I are leaving for Paris tomorrow...I had hoped to schedule a bike tour for his birthday on the 23rd. Fat Tire tours had so much great buzz on this site, I tried to schedule a tour with them, but unless more people sign up for a tour that day (or week), we are out of luck. So now I am back to square one...

Can anyone suggest another bike tour option that I can check with ASAP? Or Segway tour, ot something of that nature? Would just like to be outdoors doing something fun for his birthday.

Thanks!!

You%26#39;ll run into pretty much the same thing with almost any tour company you do business with. If there aren%26#39;t enough payying customers to make up a tour and breal-even, they%26#39;ll probably cancel.

One alternative for a bike tour would be to rent bicycles and do it on your own with one of their self-guided tour maps---or with one of their escorted guided tours. Bicycle rentals are most readily available through the RATP from a few locations around Paris--

RATP BICYCLE RENTALS / TOURS--(download %26amp; print out their brochure)

The Segway Tours are only offered through FAT BIKES...but there are other %26#39;novel%26#39; tour options available. There%26#39;s the Friday night Paris Roller-- http://www.pari-roller.com/?lang=en --OR...more sedate Sunday afternoon-- www.rollers-coquillages.org/html/en/news.php… (you can follow along on bicycles as well)

Or perhaps something like this--

I did both the night and day tour (with the fat tire bike tour) and we loved it so much we decided to just rent the bikes and continue on our own, i think it was 16E for the day (i may be way off though) and it was totally worth it!
