I have a couple days to spend in Lorient. Can anyone recommend any good restaurants or things to do?

Do you have to spend it in Lorient? I did not find it to be a particularly pleasant place.

Their are two cities in France to which I have found no compelling reason to ever return. The first is Albertville and the other is L%26#39;Orient. You may find a good restaurent but I should suggest you consider renting a car and visit the surrounding area rather than spend time there.
