Seine walks

Could anyone suggest where the nicest area would be to walk along the Seine? Do they have a pathway? If so what would be the closest Metro stop to get to that location?

Between Notre Dame and the Louvre is the nicest. You have a staircase going down from the street to the side of the river. St Michel would be the closest in my opinion

The Right Bank métro stop for the Jardin des Tuileries would be ideal--you would just stroll through the gardens until you reach the river.

You can walk by the Seine almost from Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, some areas are better than others. Just find stairs to get you at water level.

No question about it. The best stroll along the Seine--day or night--will be down along the Left Bank quais and under the bridges from PONT de SULLY (at Institut du Monde Arabe) from eastern the tip of Île Saint Louis---past Île Saint Louis, the south facade of Notre Dame and Conciergerie, to at least PONT des ARTS, between gilded dome of Institut de France and to the Denon Wiong of Palais du Louvre...and beyond if you like.

If you%26#39;re looking for great spots to take photos along any of these routes, I suspect that aphotographerinparis, can direct you to precisely which individual cobblestones to stand on as you frame your photos.

KD ~%26amp;gt; I love rivers as they meander through cities. Sometimes they are the forgotten part but there is so much life [in my words] that happen down at a river. Just being near it and watching it in my opinion is neat. I%26#39;m sure that you can%26#39;t go wrong with photo ops in Paris.

Start at Pont de Bir Hakeim (metro Passy) and walk east along the Seine. Beautiful views! I usually walk down to Pont de la Concorde on one bank and return on the other.
