Breakfast spots near Sorbonne/Pantheon and non-french food

My boyfriend and I are staying at a hotel right by the Sorbonne and Pantheon from Feb 16-21st. I prefer not to eat breakfast in the hotel and am looking for some cute spots nearby to grab a bite before we start our walk for the day. Also any recomendations for some trendy restaurants that are not entirely classic French food. I normally do not frequent french restaurants in NYC (where I live) and would not put french food at the top of my list because i am not really a meat eater (but do love fish) so I find my choices very limted on french menus. Any help would be appreciated.

You%26#39;ll usually find at least a few fish or non-meat dishes on most French restaurant menus. In any event, since most restaurants post their menus prominently somewhere out front, you can check the menu selection of most restaurants that interest you quite easily.

If you%26#39;re looking for good restaurants, specializing in seafoods in the general vicinity of your location, try either of these, just a bit to the west in the 6eme-Saint Germain des Prés--

FISH La Boissonniere (%26amp; wine bar)--69 rue de Seine, 75006, Metro: Mabillon

La MÉDITERRANÉE--2 Place de la Odeon, 75006, Metro: Odeon

You will basically always find fish on French restaurants menus!

Try Breakfast in America.

We like Boulangerie Paul on the rue de Buci for breakfast--wonderful pastries and hot chocolate, among other things.

We found that near the area you are in you can find MANY restaurants that feature ethnic foods. Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnese. We did find that the French do not spice up their food as hot as we like and are used to when eating Thai etc. so order it very spicy if you like a bit of heat!

Don%26#39;t assume that every restaurant in Paris serves %26quot; classic french cusine%26quot; anymore then we would assume that New Yorkers only eat pizza !

You will find many things to eat and many places to eat ! Don%26#39;t worry!!!!!

P.S. In the Latin Quarter there are also some good Gyros and Souvlakis available street side. Try one, yummy.

I recommend Breakfast in America also as you don%26#39;t want French food.
