laptop Rental? or Internet cafe near rue Pont Louis...

Does anyone know where and how much it would cost to rent a laptop in Paris? Or a close Internet cafe to my apt? How much are the internet cafes charging and for what minutes of time?

Rue de la Harpe may be closer however there is one behind the CENTRE GEORGES POMPIDOU

I do not recall the name of the square however if you are walking towards the Georges Pompidou behind the museum there is a small square and the internet cafe is on the left side.

I did have a list of several internet cafes in Paris. If I locate it I will post it.

Is the Access Acadamy still open? When we were there last July they said they were closing down the business. We were sad to hear that because we really liked their facility, it was open late and close to our apartment!

There%26#39;s an internet cafe on the rue de la Bucherie in the 5th, next door to a vegetarian restaurant and around the corner from the cafe facing Notre Dame on the quai Montebello(Cafe Panis, I think). That%26#39;s less than a 5 minute walk from the Pont Louis Philippe. I think they charge 1 euro for 15 minutes.

There are a few internet cafes in that area. Most of the internet cafes in Paris will have a special deal where you can buy so many hours for a month. It is usually discounted. It is kind of fun to go to the cafes because you will often meet other people who are traveling and you end up chatting with them. You%26#39;ll find one, but shop around, sometimes you can find two on the same street and the prices will really vary.

Here is a listing. It looks as if the ones that were already posted are closest to rue Pont Louis Phillipe. The 2 that are listed in the 4th are not that close ie Rue des Archives and Rue Picarde.

I stay on Ile St. Louis and this is the Internet cafe I always use. The people who run it speak perfect English and are very nice -- I had a lot of time left in my account when I was leaving Paris last time and they happily transferred the time to a friend%26#39;s account.

There%26#39;s another that might be a minute or two closer to you right near Village St. Paul in the Marais. I believe it%26#39;s on rue Charlemagne (although it might be rue de l%26#39;Ave Maria -- in any case, it%26#39;s just west of rue St. Paul).
