I am looking for a decent hotel near the stadium and convenient for bars and restaurants. Can anyone advise

The stadion is located in the outskirts of the city, in a rather desolate area, now mainly used for the kind of small dealerships you tend to find where land is still leased for petty money awaiting a zoning to come.
The airport is quite close. You may try the Etap hotel. Would expect it to be quite basic though. The radical option would conist of staying in the city core, then commuting by bus to the stadion. Distance some three-four miles. It%26#39;s even walkable.
