First time in Paris

Spending two to three days in Paris for the first time in May. We enjoy spending time in a new city by walking, walking and more walking, to take everything in; must-sees for us include Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Other than that, most looking forward to people-watching and strolling the streets. We%26#39;re morning people - night life not so important. Trying to narrow down what area to stay in and will find a hotel from there - any suggestions?

Thanks!

Got back from Paris a couple of days ago, spent 3 days there and stayed in Trocadero, could see the eiffel tower from our hotel room, (Hotel Jardins du Trocadero) which was not too expensive and a good central starting point to walk to other attractions such as the Champs Elysees and the Louvre.

Hi

My wife and I went to Paris a few years back and we hope to return in April this year to check it out again :-) Paris is great for walking...we walked all the way from our hotel at the Place de la Republique to Arc de Triomph...and when/if you get tired you can just take the metro to get back to your neighbourhood :-) Can%26#39;t really recommend a hotel but there are lots of websites out there with hotel recommendations...check out this: …timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,18470,00.html

Have a great trip to Paris :-)

Regards

Gard
