I visited the Eiffel Tower website the other day and saw that they have a skating rink on it! Has anyone been, had experiences good or bad? I am proposing to my girlfriend and was going to let the right place to do it draw me there, but is it a place worth going?

My wife and I were there last week. It is a neat little rink that it looks like they built up on top of a wood platform. There are disco type lights moving around, although they are hard to see in the day time.
The rink size (guessing) is 30 feet across by 50 feet long-ish.
Obviously it is more for the fun and feel of skating on the Eiffel Tower, than a real rink. But people looked like they were having fun.
They do have a small little building near the rink renting skates, and a place to sit and get ready to go.
We saw everyone from young couples (teens) to little kids, to families, to people our age, (30%26#39;s). All looked happy.

We went; waited in line, bought the tix to the first floor and upon getting to the rink the line was so long (two hours)we abandonned the plan and made our way to a cafe for some hot cocoa.
